New (used) lens

 Just trying out a new lens. Irony Man gets himself another (used) lens even though he can’t go out in the field while being a caregiver and therefore can’t do much with it.  I can look at it and bath in the glow of its image stabilization, a feature I didn’t have on my old 70mm-200mm f4, L, USM. This newer lens has IS (first generation only) and extends my reach slightly to 300mm f4, L, IS, USM. I may eventually also acquire a 1.4x TC Mk III to extend it even farther.

Another hummer ... perhaps the last one because the bees and wasps are taking over the feeder. This one is in hover mode.

Unusual color of her eye! Nice picture. Love action shots! Hahaha, I guess with the hummers, most times we either get action shots or miss it. You trained yours to sit down to drink.
