Southwest Caledon!!!!


A few minutes ago, standing out on our river porch, heard a loon calling!!?? What!!??  Loon!!!!?  Keep calling and then 3 came into view, flying in a southwesterly direction.


Made my day, got a northern experience without leaving home!!!!


Have a good and and better if one is birding day!!!!

Sooooo I uploaded a couple of pix of a doe that I observed in my mother's backyard....she lives in Port Credit...it's densely populated....highly built up there....anyway they are in my original post "too excited to wait..."

Is it an Eastern Fox snake? Not a biggest fan to be honest, saw one disappearing into the grass today at Downsview, and I jumped :o

okay Ally...you were close as there was Pine warblers in same area, but this wee one was not that
Belongs to the parents of a couple proud "Prairie" Warblers

Where did you see that??? That's a fledgling Fiji Bush Warbler!!! I'd stake my reputation on that.
