That is so cool! Cooperative indeed. I was telling my friend the day before yesterday that I hadn't seen a towhee this year only heard it. No wood thrush either.

Nice find. Don't it just make your day when a bird co-operates?I've processed it to help compensate for the low light level.

Thanks for waving your magic wand to make the twig disappear and the picture brighter. I'm not really into post-processing...

Wow, that processed image looks great - SS is masterclass. It is time to do a video tutorial SS.

Look, a master class can only be given by a master. I’m not a master of anything! I used to go fishing at the end of each year at university, and at other times, because I enjoyed the peace and quiet when it was not being disturbed by the complaints and protestations of my fishing companion. Between the snagged lines and lost baits that my guest endured I had my hands full. I had a devil of a time trying to teach someone how to bait a hook properly. Repeated attempts eventually paid off and diminished my intervention at baiting a hook. By that time I was considered a master by my companion. I later realized what that implied. I dabble in PS, get my feet wet but I don’t scuba dive into the software. I know a few useful basics … all of which I have already articulated to Ally when she inquired about my method of processing her photo. Some think that processed images are bad magic. That’s rich, considering that all digital photography is processed to create a file. Film photography did all its processing with chemistry but there was still processing going on. Processed food, on the other hand, might actually be bad magic.
Stephen showing up just in time to watch a Blue grosbeak cavort and audition is just black magic. It comes with the Olympus kit … that’s my explanation and I’m sticking to it.
