Found Hummingbird Feeder
on:

I finally found my old hummingbird feeder after several searches during the last month. As usual, it was pretty much in the location I figured that it should be without actually seeing it. The psychological irritation of searching for something that doesn’t appear to be where it belongs when I don’t even have the time for search and rescue renders me blind.
It didn’t take long after installation before a hummer visited. Moreover, an oriole also appeared to sample the nectar. I have not seen or heard an oriole yet this year.
RB grosbeaks have also shown up for the peanut pieces and sunflower seeds. I wish an Indigo bunting would show up. Have not seen one in the backyard since 2012, and even then only briefly.

Lucky indeed. I have been putting my feeders year after year - only things it attracts are squirrels and ants.

Not exactly a party ... just a meet and greet.
